Sara Voigt
Sara Voigt joined the Badger Region on Feb. 22, 2016, as the Program Specialist.
For the 2020-2021 club season, she is the head coach for Milwaukee Sting’s 14 Black team, her 11th year working with girls 14 and under. Sara has also been a High Performance camp coach and assistant coach for the Badger Region HP Program. In 2017 she coached St. Mary Menomonee Falls 8th grade girls to win the A division of the Seton Tournament and in 2021 her Sting 14 Black team won the USA division at the Mideast Qualifier.
Sara is a certified official, USAV CAP III and IMPACT instructor with Badger Region. She is also the WVC (Wisconsin Volleyball Conference) officials assigner. In 2021 Sara advanced to a USAV Regional level official.
During the summer and fall, you will find Sara running volleyball sand camps, positional/private skill sessions for schools and club and assisting other volleyball programs with their tryouts. She also directs beach at New Berlin Ale House.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh with a degree in Medical Technology and Chemistry, Voigt went on to get her Masters in Medical Technology at Marquette. She also played basketball throughout high school and college as well as sand volleyball. Prior to working at Badger Region Volleyball, Sara worked as a Medical Technologist in the laboratory for over 19 years.
She is an active advocate of Guardians of the Children Organization, Sojourner Family Peace Center, Positive Coaching Alliance and Professional Women of Wisconsin Networking.
She currently lives in Colgate, Wis. with her husband, and is the mother of five children.
